In today’s time when there is a need for better coordination between society and law and order, initiatives like “Camp with a Cop” are playing a big role. This camp not only brings children closer to nature, but also gives them a chance to meet and learn from the law enforcers. This is a unique experience that inspires children to become self-reliant, disciplined and responsible citizens.
For which children is this camp?
This camp is organized for students taking admission in class 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th. The good news is that there are no location or residence restrictions – children from any part of the country can attend the camp.
However, it is important to note that the camp is completely outdoor-based. Children need to be active in bright sunshine, rain or harsh weather conditions. If a child has special needs, a serious medical condition or does not like a lot of physical activity, parents should make an informed decision.
Camp Objectives and Features
The camp is staffed by dedicated and trained officers from various law enforcement departments in the county. These officers not only provide guidance to children, but also spend personal time with them to build life-inspiring relationships. The camp is made possible with the help of local businesses, the Fraternal Order of Police, the Substance Abuse Committee and the general public.
