LEARN MORE ABOUT CAPTAIN HEATH DYKES

Captain Heath Dykes is a graduate of the Hawkinsville High School Class of 1988. After high school he received an Associate degree from Middle Georgia College in Cochran and a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Georgia Southern University. Captain Dykes began his career in law enforcement with the Perry Police Department in 1993. Since joining the Perry Police Department, he has graduated from the 195th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Captain Dykes has also graduated from the Georgia Law Enforcement Command College where he received his Masters degree in Public Administration, and completed the Georgia Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar. Before serving as Captain of Detectives, Heath served as Patrol Officer, Detective Sergeant, Detective Lieutenant and Patrol Captain. When he is off-duty, he enjoys coaching baseball, hunting, riding dirt bikes and spending time with his family.
