WHEN ARE FIRE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED:
Fire Inspections are required during the Construction, Remodeling or Alteration of all structures with the exception of Single or Two-Family Dwellings.
The first inspection is required when the Framing, rough in electrical and rough in plumbing phases are completed and prior to any ceiling / wall surfaces being installed.
A Final Inspection is required at the completion of the project prior to the Certificate of Occupancy being issued.
A Fire Inspection is also required as a part of the New Business License process before a Business License is approved to be issued.
