Welcome to the Fire Division of the City of Perry
Department of Public Safety

The Fire Division currently operates out of one station with 6 vehicles including a front line and reserve pumper, a ladder truck, a chief's vehicle and a captain's vehicle, and one brush truck. Annually, we average over 1500 responses, with the majority being medical related emergencies.

Our goal at the Department of Public Safety is to provide the highest level of professional service possible to the people of Perry. This is obtained through endless hours of planning, training, and community involvement and is reflected through our mission statement:

"Remember to take ownership of, responsibility for, and pride in everything that our community entrusts to or asks of us with respect and courtesy." Learn More
